The New York Fashion Week, which is held every year at the Times Square and also takes place in the month of September, brings together the finest in the fashion industry to attend and showcase the latest urban fashion trends. This year has seen the rise of many new brands as designers try to make their mark in this ever-growing trend. One of the newcomers has been Louis Vuitton, who has established a new chapter in the world of fashionable footwear. Here we take a look at this brand and what they have planned for the New York Fashion Week.

First of all it is important to mention that the latest urban fashion trends are largely influenced by the French Connection style. This has been heavily influenced by movies like Dead Man Walking and Easy Rider. The French Connection style was a major influence on the branding and design of many high street brands such as D&G, Calvin Klein and L’officiel. The French Connection style has since moved on to include elements such as bling, riffs and bright colours, and have become much more relaxed. The brand makes use of geometric shapes and bright colours with a very clean cut and tailored look.

Another very popular brand, which has released their fall/winter range this season is the Japanese brand Pure. This brand works from the basic principles of the Japanese culture, with elements ranging from clean cut styling to traditional Japanese patterns and fabrics. This brand work primarily from their online presence, and use their vast catalogues and social media outlets to promote their range. As well as their online presence Pure uses traditional methods of brand promotion such as press conferences, tastings and photo shoots to make their fashion brand known to the world. This is one of the trends that we will continue to see developing rapidly and it looks set to continue into the future too.
